I’ve been dabbling with Intermittent fasting and multi-day fasting for a few years now. Overall it’s been a success, but I’ve had many failures along the way. I’ve done a lot of research in the past few years and now I’m trying to commit to making it a full time lifestyle.
Today, April 10th 2021, I started another fasting routine which will consist of 23 hour fasts (One Meal A Day, henceforth to be known as “OMAD”) and I’ll pop in a 48 hour fast here and there and I’m going to try for a 5 day fast soon.
You should be mentally prepared
One thing I’ve learned is that if you’re not mentally ready, then it won’t work well. Also, prepping for a multi-day fast is very important. I can’t tell you how many times I woke up one day and started a fast, even though I ate tons of crap the night before. Those don’t work out well.
So come along and watch me make mistake after mistake trying to do this on a full time basis. It’s difficult because I have ZERO willpower and am surrounded by people that eat tons of junk food.
